Preserving Memories Part 2

We had so much fun with this project!
Designing these new pieces for our friend using her Grandmother's jewelry will  hopefully preserve some memories for her family.  We hope that she is remembered as her family wears this jewelry.  Soon we will be shipping them to TX, but we wanted to share how they turned out...

This  necklace was amazing as is!
We just slightly tweaked it to make it a little more current.  We thought the chain was a little short, so we  added some more vintage chain for length.  Adding one small brushed nickel bead finished it off.
At the neck there's a lobster clasp so it's still adjustable.
What an amazing vintage statement piece!

Here's what happened with one of the gold and pearl earrings.
(The other earring will soon be a matching bracelet.)
We wanted to keep this necklace neutral and classy.  Hopefully something that will be very versatile in anyone's wardrobe!

vintage writings crystal
The crystal pendant projects an image of vintage writings from Joesph Smith's journal.  We love using images like these that are subtle yet meaningful to the owner and give it a fun vintage look!

If you remember from our last post, this was her Grandmother's brooch.  We paired it with some vintage beads and chain and hung a crystal pendant.
Now she has a new necklace to wear!

bracelet turq
The brooch had a pair of matching adorable clip on earrings, so we turned them into this fun bracelet.

  1. I really like the turquoise one! It's perfect--mint is the "it" color this spring!
